Gonda is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Gonda is 4,003 km² including 3,952.43 km² rural area and 50.57 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Gonda has a population of 34,33,919 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,25,029 while rural population is 32,08,890. Gonda has a sex ratio of approximately 921 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 858 inhabitants per square kilometre.
