Hardoi

Hardoi is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Hardoi is 5,986 km² including 5,837.84 km² rural area and 148.16 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Hardoi has a population of 40,92,845 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,41,806 while rural population is 35,51,039. Hardoi has a sex ratio of approximately 867 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 684 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,30,442 houses in the district, including 91,815 urban houses and 6,38,627 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,907 villages in hardoi district.
