Lalitpur

Lalitpur is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Lalitpur is 5,039 km² including 4,997.74 km² rural area and 41.26 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Lalitpur has a population of 12,21,592 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,75,378 while rural population is 10,46,214. Lalitpur has a sex ratio of approximately 905 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 242 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,22,094 houses in the district, including 32,551 urban houses and 1,89,543 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 691 villages in lalitpur district.
