Mahrajganj

Mahrajganj is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Mahrajganj is 2,952 km² including 2,897.89 km² rural area and 54.11 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mahrajganj has a population of 26,84,703 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,34,730 while rural population is 25,49,973. Mahrajganj has a sex ratio of approximately 942 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 909 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,26,565 houses in the district, including 21,775 urban houses and 4,04,790 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,212 villages in mahrajganj district.
