Mahrajganj is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Mahrajganj is 2,952 km² including 2,897.89 km² rural area and 54.11 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mahrajganj has a population of 26,84,703 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,34,730 while rural population is 25,49,973. The district has a population density of 909 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,26,565 houses in the district, including 21,775 urban houses and 4,04,790 rural houses.
