Mainpuri

Mainpuri is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Mainpuri is 2,760 km² including 2,670.98 km² rural area and 89.02 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mainpuri has a population of 18,68,529 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,88,442 while rural population is 15,80,087. Mainpuri has a sex ratio of approximately 880 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 677 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,13,690 houses in the district, including 50,187 urban houses and 2,63,503 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 820 villages in mainpuri district.
