Mirzapur

Mirzapur is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Mirzapur is 4,405 km² including 4,331.78 km² rural area and 73.22 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mirzapur has a population of 24,96,970 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,47,567 while rural population is 21,49,403. Mirzapur has a sex ratio of approximately 902 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 567 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,94,925 houses in the district, including 55,602 urban houses and 3,39,323 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,745 villages in mirzapur district.
