Pratapgarh

Pratapgarh is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Pratapgarh is 3,717 km² including 3,669.13 km² rural area and 47.87 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Pratapgarh has a population of 32,09,141 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,75,242 while rural population is 30,33,899. Pratapgarh has a sex ratio of approximately 998 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 863 inhabitants per square kilometre.
