Rampur

Rampur is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Rampur is 2,367 km² including 2,265.24 km² rural area and 101.76 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rampur has a population of 23,35,819 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,88,647 while rural population is 17,47,172. Rampur has a sex ratio of approximately 908 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 987 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,93,736 houses in the district, including 1,03,221 urban houses and 2,90,515 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,108 villages in rampur district.
