Sonbhadra

Sonbhadra is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Sonbhadra is 6,905 km² including 6,779.57 km² rural area and 125.43 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sonbhadra has a population of 18,62,559 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,14,342 while rural population is 15,48,217. Sonbhadra has a sex ratio of approximately 917 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 270 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,33,174 houses in the district, including 62,352 urban houses and 2,70,822 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,391 villages in sonbhadra district.
