Agra is a district in the Uttar_pradesh State of India. Total area of Agra is 4,041 km² including 3,793.04 km² rural area and 247.96 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Agra has a population of 44,18,797 peoples, out of which urban population is 20,24,195 while rural population is 23,94,602. The district has a population density of 1093 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,10,566 houses in the district, including 3,38,775 urban houses and 3,71,791 rural houses.
