Koch Bihar is a district in the West Bengal State of India. Total area of Koch Bihar is 3,387 km² including 3,318.06 km² rural area and 68.94 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Koch Bihar has a population of 28,19,086 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,89,434 while rural population is 25,29,652. Koch Bihar has a sex ratio of approximately 942 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 832.3 inhabitants per square kilometre.
