Koch Bihar

Koch Bihar is a district in the West Bengal State of India. Total area of Koch Bihar is 3,387 km² including 3,318.06 km² rural area and 68.94 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Koch Bihar has a population of 28,19,086 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,89,434 while rural population is 25,29,652. Koch Bihar has a sex ratio of approximately 942 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 832.3 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,65,720 houses in the district, including 69,693 urban houses and 5,96,027 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,132 villages in koch bihar district.
