North Twenty Four Parganas is a district in the West Bengal State of India. Total area of North Twenty Four Parganas is 4,094 km² including 3,468.22 km² rural area and 625.78 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, North Twenty Four Parganas has a population of 1,00,09,781 peoples, out of which urban population is 57,32,162 while rural population is 42,77,619. The district has a population density of 2445 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 23,48,683 houses in the district, including 13,55,449 urban houses and 9,93,234 rural houses.
