Pashchim Champaran District, Bihar

Pashchim Champaran is an administrative district in Bihar, India. The district is located about 210 km from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Its administrative headquarters is in Motihari. Hindi, Maithili and Tharu are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 5,228 km², including 5,133.60 km² of rural area and 94.40 km² of urban area.
