Supaul

Supaul is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Supaul is 2,425 km² including 2,388.66 km² rural area and 36.34 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Supaul has a population of 22,29,076 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,05,558 while rural population is 21,23,518. Supaul has a sex ratio of approximately 929 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 919 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,43,073 houses in the district, including 20,493 urban houses and 4,22,580 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 526 villages in supaul district.
