Surguja District, Chhattisgarh
Surguja is an administrative district in Chhattisgarh, India. The district is located about 320 km from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Its administrative headquarters is in Ambikapur. Hindi, Sadri and Oraon (tribal) are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 15,732 km², including 15,577.68 km² of rural area and 154.32 km² of urban area.
