Surguja District, Chhattisgarh

Surguja District is an administrative district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It is situated about 320 km from Raipur, the state capital of Chhattisgarh. The district headquarters is located at Ambikapur. Hindi, Sadri and Oraon (tribal) are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 15,732 km², including 15,577.68 km² of rural area and 154.32 km² of urban area.
