East District, Delhi

East District is an administrative district in the national capital territory of Delhi, India. It is situated about 10 km from New Delhi, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Preet Vihar. Hindi and Punjabi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 63 km², including 0.27 km² of rural area and 62.73 km² of urban area.
