South Goa District, Goa
South Goa District is an administrative district in the state of Goa, India. It is situated about 55 km from Panaji, the state capital of Goa. The district headquarters is located at Margao. Konkani, Marathi and English are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,966 km², including 1,666.80 km² of rural area and 299.20 km² of urban area.
