Valsad District, Gujarat

Valsad District is an administrative district in the state of Gujarat, India. It is situated about 290 km from Gandhinagar, the state capital of Gujarat. The district headquarters is located at Valsad. Gujarati, Kokni and Varli are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,008 km², including 2,782.15 km² of rural area and 225.85 km² of urban area.
