Kaithal

Kaithal is a district in the Haryana State of India. Total area of Kaithal is 2,317 km² including 2,212.70 km² rural area and 104.30 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kaithal has a population of 10,74,304 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,36,011 while rural population is 8,38,293. Kaithal has a sex ratio of approximately 881 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 464 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,04,274 houses in the district, including 46,255 urban houses and 1,58,019 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 267 villages in kaithal district.
