Sopore is an administrative tehsil in the Baramulla district of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It includes various villages governed through Gram Panchayats and forms part of the district's rural administration. The nearest railway station is situated at Anantnag, while the nearest airport is Sheikh Ul Alam Airport, located at an approximate aerial distance of 39.3 km.
