Doda
Doda is a district in the Jammu & Kashmir State of India. Total area of Doda is 8,912 km² including 8,892.25 km² rural area and 19.75 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Doda has a population of 4,09,936 peoples, out of which urban population is 32,689 while rural population is 3,77,247. Doda has a sex ratio of approximately 918 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 46 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 79,636 houses in the district, including 6,719 urban houses and 72,917 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 402 villages in doda district.
The Doda district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
