Ramban District, Jammu And Kashmir

Ramban District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 140 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Ramban. Dogri, Kashmiri, Gujuri and Hindi are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,329 km², including 1,313.92 km² of rural area and 15.08 km² of urban area.
