Godda District, Jharkhand

Godda District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 310 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Godda. Hindi, Santhali and Bengali are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,266 km², including 2,251.49 km² of rural area and 14.51 km² of urban area.
