Balaghat District, Madhya Pradesh

Balaghat is an administrative district in Madhya Pradesh, India. The district is located about 360 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Balaghat. Hindi and Gondi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 9,229 km², including 9,021.68 km² of rural area and 207.32 km² of urban area.
