Chhindwara District, Madhya Pradesh

Chhindwara District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 180 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Chhindwara. Hindi and Gondi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 11,815 km², including 11,591.51 km² of rural area and 223.49 km² of urban area.
