Khargone

Khargone is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Khargone is 8,025 km² including 7,967.69 km² rural area and 57.31 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Khargone has a population of 18,73,046 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,98,856 while rural population is 15,74,190. Khargone has a sex ratio of approximately 965 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 233.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,67,988 houses in the district, including 58,673 urban houses and 3,09,315 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,194 villages in khargone district.
