Khargone is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Khargone is 8,025 km² including 7,967.69 km² rural area and 57.31 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Khargone has a population of 18,73,046 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,98,856 while rural population is 15,74,190. The district has a population density of 233.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,67,988 houses in the district, including 58,673 urban houses and 3,09,315 rural houses.
