Singrauli District, Madhya Pradesh

Singrauli District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 550 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Waidhan. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,675 km², including 5,384.80 km² of rural area and 290.20 km² of urban area.
