Shahdol District, Madhya Pradesh

Shahdol District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 430 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Shahdol. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 6,205 km², including 6,048.13 km² of rural area and 156.87 km² of urban area.
