Satna District, Madhya Pradesh

Satna is an administrative district in Madhya Pradesh, India. The district is located about 370 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Satna. Hindi and Bagheli are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,502 km², including 7,220.92 km² of rural area and 281.08 km² of urban area.
