Satna District, Madhya Pradesh

Satna District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 370 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Satna. Hindi and Bagheli are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,502 km², including 7,220.92 km² of rural area and 281.08 km² of urban area.
