Katni District, Madhya Pradesh

Katni District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 290 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Katni. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,950 km², including 4,849.39 km² of rural area and 100.61 km² of urban area.
