Latur District, Maharashtra

Latur is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 530 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Latur. Marathi is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,157 km², including 7,072.62 km² of rural area and 84.38 km² of urban area.
