Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District is an administrative district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is situated about 330 km from Mumbai, the state capital of Maharashtra. The district headquarters is located at Aurangabad. Marathi and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 10,131 km², including 9,821.54 km² of rural area and 309.35 km² of urban area.
