Mumbai Suburban District is an administrative district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is situated about 15 km from Mumbai, the state capital of Maharashtra. The district headquarters is located at Bandra(East). Marathi, Hindi, English and Gujarati are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 446 km².
