Wardha

Wardha is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Wardha is 6,309 km² including 6,219.99 km² rural area and 89.01 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Wardha has a population of 13,00,774 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,23,300 while rural population is 8,77,474. Wardha has a sex ratio of approximately 946 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 206.2 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,09,846 houses in the district, including 97,353 urban houses and 2,12,493 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 973 villages in wardha district.
