Kiphire

Kiphire is a district in the Nagaland State of India. Total area of Kiphire is 1,130 km² including 1,119.00 km² rural area and 11.00 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kiphire has a population of 74,004 peoples, out of which urban population is 16,487 while rural population is 57,517. Kiphire has a sex ratio of approximately 956 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 65.49 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 14,771 houses in the district, including 3,109 urban houses and 11,662 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 90 villages in kiphire district.

The Kiphire district is further divided in to Circles / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
