Mokokchung District, Nagaland

Mokokchung is an administrative district in Nagaland, India. The district is located about 160 km from Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Its administrative headquarters is in Mokokchung. Ao and Nagamese are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,615 km², including 1,587.50 km² of rural area and 27.50 km² of urban area.
