Dhenkanal District, Odisha

Dhenkanal District is an administrative district in the state of Odisha, India. It is situated about 100 km from Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha. The district headquarters is located at Dhenkanal. Odia is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,452 km², including 4,383.82 km² of rural area and 68.18 km² of urban area.
