Dhenkanal District, Odisha

Dhenkanal is an administrative district in Odisha, India. The district is located about 100 km from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Its administrative headquarters is in Dhenkanal. Odia is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,452 km², including 4,383.82 km² of rural area and 68.18 km² of urban area.
