Kandhamal District, Odisha
Kandhamal is an administrative district in Odisha, India. The district is located about 200 km from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Its administrative headquarters is in Phulbani. Odia, Kondh and Kui (tribal) are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 8,021 km², including 7,969.26 km² of rural area and 51.74 km² of urban area.
