Ferozepur District is an administrative district in the state of Punjab, India. It is situated about 245 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Punjab. The district headquarters is located at Firozpur. Punjabi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,305 km², including 5,166.42 km² of rural area and 138.58 km² of urban area.
