Sangrur District, Punjab

Sangrur District is an administrative district in the state of Punjab, India. It is situated about 130 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Punjab. The district headquarters is located at Sangrur. Punjabi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,625 km², including 3,465.75 km² of rural area and 159.25 km² of urban area.
