Bathinda District, Punjab

Bathinda District is an administrative district in the state of Punjab, India. It is situated about 210 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Punjab. The district headquarters is located at Bathinda. Punjabi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,353 km², including 3,193.91 km² of rural area and 159.09 km² of urban area.
