Karimnagar
Karimnagar is a district in the Telangana State of India. Total area of Karimnagar is 11,823 km² including 11,439.10 km² rural area and 383.90 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Karimnagar has a population of 37,76,269 peoples, out of which urban population is 9,51,225 while rural population is 28,25,044. Karimnagar has a sex ratio of approximately 1007 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 319.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 9,76,022 houses in the district, including 2,32,601 urban houses and 7,43,421 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,037 villages in karimnagar district.
The Karimnagar district is further divided in to Mandals / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
