Warangal
Warangal is a district in the Telangana State of India. Total area of Warangal is 12,846 km² including 12,468.63 km² rural area and 377.37 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Warangal has a population of 35,12,576 peoples, out of which urban population is 9,92,333 while rural population is 25,20,243. Warangal has a sex ratio of approximately 996 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 273.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 8,86,279 houses in the district, including 2,41,082 urban houses and 6,45,197 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 961 villages in warangal district.
The Warangal district is further divided in to Mandals / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
