South Tripura District, Tripura

South Tripura District is an administrative district in the state of Tripura, India. It is situated about 80 km from Agartala, the state capital of Tripura. The district headquarters is located at Belonia. Kokborok and Bengali are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,057 km², including 2,978.37 km² of rural area and 78.63 km² of urban area.
