Deoria District, Uttar Pradesh

Deoria District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 250 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Deoria. Hindi and Bhojpuri are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,540 km², including 2,463.08 km² of rural area and 76.92 km² of urban area.
