Jhansi

Jhansi is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Jhansi is 5,024 km² including 4,744.05 km² rural area and 279.95 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Jhansi has a population of 19,98,603 peoples, out of which urban population is 8,33,484 while rural population is 11,65,119. Jhansi has a sex ratio of approximately 890 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 398 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,67,779 houses in the district, including 1,51,936 urban houses and 2,15,843 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 745 villages in jhansi district.
