Shrawasti District, Uttar Pradesh

Shrawasti District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 160 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Shravasti. Hindi and Avadhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,640 km², including 1,633.78 km² of rural area and 6.22 km² of urban area.
