Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh

Chittoor is an administrative district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The district is located about 280 km from Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Chittoor. Telugu is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 15,152 km², including 14,833.38 km² of rural area and 318.62 km² of urban area.
