Kurnool

Kurnool is a district in the Andhra Pradesh State of India. The total area of Kurnool district is 17,658 km², which includes 17,310.61 km² of rural area and 347.39 km² of urban area. There are about 870 villages in Kurnool district.

For administrative convenience, Kurnool district is divided into Tehsils, Blocks, PS, and Community Development Blocks (C.D. Blocks). In many states, Blocks or C.D. Blocks are treated the same as tehsils, though they may have slightly different roles depending on the region.
