Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh
Prakasam District is an administrative district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated about 130 km from Amaravati, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Ongole. Telugu is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 17,626 km², including 17,357.37 km² of rural area and 268.63 km² of urban area.
